Vivo has officially launched the new X300 FE in India today (May 6, 2026). The 12GB RAM & 256GB storage variant has been priced at ₹79,999. The X300 Ultra has also been launched. After the launch, the X300 series has started pre-booking on Flipkart and the open sale will start from May 14.
This phone is part of Vivo’s compact flagship line. Compared to the previous X200 FE, it has added a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a larger battery and a periscope telephoto camera. It is going to be an attractive option for those who want a small size phone but want flagship-level performance and cameras.
Design and Build
Talking about the design and build of Vivo X300 FE, it is very compact. The phone is only 7.99 millimeters thick and weighs 191 grams. It is made of aircraft-grade aluminum frame and AG glass back, which greatly increases the build quality of the phone. It has an IP68 + IP69 rating, so it is protected from dust and water. The color options include Moonlight White, Cool Purple and Graphite Black.

Vivo is generally very fast in terms of software updates, so you don’t have to worry about updates.

The phone will be available in two configurations in the Indian market. Its base variant has been launched with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – priced at ₹79,999. And its higher variant has been seen with 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, priced at ₹89,999.
With this launch from Vivo, ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 (₹15,999) and Accessories Kit (case + mounting accessory, ₹3,999) will be available. The phone + extender kit can be available for ₹95,997 in the bundle offer.
