Google Pixel 11 series leaks Pixel Glow RGB LED replacing IR thermometer.
Small camera bar LEDs deliver animations for calls messages and Gemini AI.
Tensor G6 chipset brighter display Android 16 expected in August 2026.

Some exclusive leaks have come to light about the Google Pixel 11 Series. Which suggest that Google could introduce a few noticeable hardware changes this time. This time, the information that is coming out about the Pixel 11 series is a little different. The biggest highlight of the leak is a new RGB LED system called Pixel Glow. According to leaker Mystic Leaks, the previous IR thermometer sensor may be dropped from the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models. In its place, there will be a small but smart RGB LED array on the camera bar.
Seeing this, many people feel that Google is focusing more on notifications and visual feedback this time. The idea sounds somewhat similar to Nothing’s Glyph interface, but implemented in Google’s own style.
What will the Pixel Glow design be like?
According to the leak, the Pixel Glow will be a small RGB LED array inside the camera bar. It is not just a notification light – it will be able to show animations. The LED system could also react to Gemini AI interactions and system activities (Incoming call, messages and alarm).
The IR thermometer that was present on the previous Pixel 8 Pro to the Pixel 10 Pro is being dropped. Leakers say that the sensor was rarely used, so Google wants to replace it with a more user-friendly feature. According to the report, this LED array will not be very large – it will fit within the camera module. As a result, the design of the phone will not change much, but the back will become much more interactive.
Expected specifications of the Pixel 11 series
In addition to the Pixel Glow, some other important information has been revealed in this leak. It will be equipped with the Tensor G6 chipset, which can be made on TSMC’s 2nm process. This is likely to improve both performance and efficiency.
In terms of camera setup, the Pro models are rumored to have new sensors and telephoto lenses. The display may be brighter (up to 3600 nits on Pro models). Nothing much has come out about the battery size, but some reports say that the battery may be a little smaller on the Pro model, but efforts will be made to increase efficiency.
In terms of RAM, the base model may have 8/12 GB and the Pro model may have up to 16 GB. On the software front, the series is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box. Being a Google device, we can also expect long-term software updates and reliable support.”
Launch and price expectations
The Pixel series is usually launched in August. The Pixel 11 series may also come around August 2026. It is not yet clear what the price will be if it is launched in India. The price of the Pixel 10 Pro in the global market started at around $999. The price of the Pixel 11 Pro may also be in the same range, but the price in India may be a little higher than the global one.
Although everything is still at the rumour level. With features like Pixel Glow, it seems like Google is trying to integrate the software better with the hardware. However, the real experience will only be known after launch.
