Vivo is now bringing a phone to the budget-mid range segment that has already become quite popular. Vivo recently revealed the teaser of the Y600 Pro 5G in China. The image shows a premium purple colored phone, with a large circular camera module. The company has not yet revealed the full specs, but the tagline of the teaser “10,000mAh level long battery” makes it clear that this time the focus is going to be on battery endurance.
Earlier, the last models of the Vivo Y series (such as the Y500 series) were mainly for normal users. They featured 5000-7000mAh batteries, mid-range processors and ordinary displays. The price range was also between 15,000 and 25,000 rupees. But the Y600 Pro 5G seems to be Vivo is now looking to make the series more powerful.
The brand has officially announced the Vivo Y600 5G. The launch date has not been announced yet, but there is talk in the tech community that it could be launched in China in the end of April or the first week of May. In the meantime, leakster Digital Chat Station has made a post, where he has told what specifications the phone may have and that it is going to be a big battery-focused phone.

According to the leak, the Y600 Pro 5G will have a 6.83 inch 1.5K LTPS flat straight screen. A display of this size is rarely seen in this segment. Since the resolution is 1.5K, the multimedia experience can be very good. MediaTek Dimensity 7300e (2.5GHz) has been used as the processor. It can provide both good performance and efficiency in the mid-range.
10,200mAh battery is present. More than a day (Up to two days) can easily run heavy usage. The camera setup will have 50MP Dual Camera. Vivo mid-range phones also have fairly good cameras. Other features are expected to include 5G connectivity, IP rating and good software optimization.
Market Competition
The leakster himself mentioned that this phone will compete directly with the Redmi Note series and Honor X80 series. Both series are coming with large batteries (10,000mAh level). However, it has been reported that iQOO’s 10,000mAh battery phone will come a little later.
Launch timeline and global chances
The launch in China is likely to be very soon (April-May 2026). The chances of coming to global or India are very low because some of its previous series (Y300 Pro, Y500 Pro) were exclusive to China. Vivo Y series usually comes with the same name in global or India. Price range in China is 1,000-1,500 Yuan (around ₹15,000-20,000). In India, it can actually be seen between 20,000-25,000 rupees.
Vivo Y600 Pro 5G looks like it is going to bring a phone with the biggest battery focus in the budget-mid range. 10,200mAh battery, 1.5K display, Dimensity 7300e – this combination is expected to make quite a name. However, the matter will be clearer after the launch.
