As of now, I don't know which SoC they will use, but it seems they will be mid-price bracket smartphones. Let's see what they turn out to be.
Vivo S1 was launched in India back in 2019, and now after 7 years,…
The previous S-series was priced around ₹18,000 to ₹20,000, so it is expected that the price range this time will be between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000. Vivo usually offers good cameras, displays and batteries in this range. So the S2 series is also expected to focus on these aspects.
Vivo S1 Series Specification
Back in 2019, the Vivo S1 focused heavily on selfie cameras and AMOLED display experience. The S1 model launched with a MediaTek Helio P65 chipset, 6.38-inch AMOLED display, 32-megapixel selfie camera and 4500 mAh battery. At that time, this phone was quite popular for its selfies and display. Whether that old feeling can be brought back when the S2 series comes after 7 years is still unknown.
While we await the official launch date and confirmed specs, this teaser alone is enough to excite long-time S-series fans. Let’s see if Vivo can recreate that 2019 magic! Looking at the tipster’s post, more details about the Vivo S2 series are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
