OnePlus is back with its popular Nord CE Lite series, and this time it seems that they have put a lot of emphasis on battery and performance. The company has officially announced that the OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite will be launched in India on May 7, 2026, 12 noon.
This time the Lite model is bringing some significant upgrades from the previous generation. Most importantly, it has a 7,000 mAh battery. OnePlus says it can provide two days of backup with normal use. It also has 45W charging and bypass charging support, so that the phone does not heat up even while gaming or watching videos.
What’s New in OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite

The phone will have a 6.72-inch LCD Full HD+ panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. This means that even though the display is LCD, it is expected to be smooth while scrolling or gaming. The processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset. OnePlus claims that it is one of the fastest performing processors in the segment with an Antutu score of 1M+.
In terms of cameras, there is a 50-megapixel main sensor on the back that can record 4K video. The 8-megapixel camera on the front will also support 4K video. In terms of software, the phone will run OxygenOS 16 (Android 16) out of the box and OnePlus is promising five years of software updates.
The previous Nord CE5 Lite model was launched in India for around Rs 23,000 to 25,000. This time, the price of the CE6 Lite seems to increase slightly due to the battery, display refresh rate and processor upgrades, but the official price has not been announced yet. So you will have to wait until the launch.
Nord CE6 Also Launch
On the same day, OnePlus will not only launch this Lite version, but also another model called Nord CE6. It may have Snapdragon 7 series chipset and some more premium features. That is, two new phones are coming together on May 7 in the budget and mid-range segments.
The full specs or detailed information on the price is still pending. However, from what has been confirmed, it seems that OnePlus has made their Lite series even stronger this time.
