OnePlus Nord CE 6 Geekbench

The next model in OnePlus’ Nord series has already been discussed. The Nord CE line has always been an attractive option for those who want good performance and long battery life in a mid-range phone. And now, the first solid report of the new member of that line, the Nord CE 6, has come from the Geekbench database. Without any official announcement, its appearance on Geekbench suggests that the launch could be getting closer.

The phone’s model number has been seen in the Geekbench listing as CPH2805. It clearly states that it has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 8GB RAM and Android 16 operating system. In terms of performance, the single-core score has come to 1101 and the multi-core score is 3117.

Looking at these scores, it is understood that the phone is going to be quite strong in the mid-range segment. The core configuration of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 has also been leaked – one core will run at 2.71 GHz, three at 2.40 GHz and four at 1.80 GHz. The GPU will be Adreno 810. Such listings usually happen very close to the launch, so it can be said that OnePlus will bring it to the market very soon.

Expected Specification of Nord CE 6

Nothing official has come yet, but according to some trusted sources, the phone will be a major upgrade from the previous models. The display may have a 6.78-inch or 6.82-inch AMOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Regarding the battery, many are expecting this model to get a battery with a capacity of 7500 mAh or more.

The camera setup can see dual 50MP sensors, of which the primary sensor will support OIS. The selfie camera is likely to be 32 megapixels. The charging speed may also be upgraded – there are rumors of 80W or more fast charging. Storage options could be 128/256GB with 8GB of RAM and the IP rating is also expected to be good. All in all, it is shaping up to be a balanced mid-range phone that is going to be a good option for gaming, multitasking and daily use.

For those who have used or seen the previous model Nord CE 5, these changes are quite noticeable. The Nord CE 5 was launched in July last year with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor. It had a 7100mAh battery (in the India version) and a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The camera setup had a 50MP primary sensor with OIS. The price for the 8GB + 128GB variant was around ₹24,999.

The Nord CE 6 comes with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 out of the box with Android 16, which is a big leap in terms of software support and optimization. But in terms of processor, the phone lags behind its predecessor. If the Geekbench listing is accurate, the Nord CE 6 could become a strong mid-range contender once it officially launches.

This phone, according to the Geekbench listing, seems to be launched in May. Along with this, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 lite will also be seen in the Indian market very soon. Tipsters have said that this phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset.
