Motorola is once again making waves in the market with its Razr series (flip phones). The first CAD render look of the Razr Ultra 2026 has been released. It seems that the company will not change much about the design of the phone this time, but many have shared their opinions on social media about this small change.
The first thing that catches your eye after looking at these renders is that the phone is slightly thicker than the previous model. It measures 7.8mm when unfolded and 15.8mm when folded. The previous Razr Ultra was slimmer. It is not yet clear why Motorola made this change, but it is assumed that it was done for the battery or other components.
New Color Options

The most talked about thing this time is the new color option. A Cocoa Wood – dark wood grain finish, which looks very premium and classy. Another Orient Blue Alcantara – A deep blue-purple shade with a soft fabric texture. Both colors are unique, meaning it will be quite premium in terms of look.
Expected Specifications
According to the exclusive from Android Headlines, the Razr Ultra 2026 will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is a flagship-level processor, so that the device is expected to deliver top-tier performance. It is also rumoured that an upgrade is coming to the camera setup – news is that a 50MP main sensor may be added to a 50MP 3x telephoto lens. In other words, the phone may be quite improved from its predecessor in terms of specifications.
The screen will probably remain the same – 6.9-inch on the inside and a 3.6-inch Flex View display on the outside. No details have been revealed about the battery and charging, but some improvements are expected here compared to the previous model.
Global Launch Timeline
In China, this phone is most likely to be launched under the name Razr 70 Ultra in late April or the first week of May. The global version (Razr Ultra 2026) usually comes 1-2 months after the China launch. So, it is expected to launch globally in late May or early June. It is likely to come to India, but there is no confirmed news yet.
Razr Ultra 2026 this leak seems to show Motorola strength position in the flipable segment. The small design changes and the new colors are very attractive. However, the matter will be more interesting if there is a official announcement. If these leaks turn out to be accurate, Motorola could once again raise the bar for premium flip phones in 2026.
