The upcoming CMF Phone 3 Pro is expected to launch in Q3 2026 with major hardware upgrades.
Leaks suggest it will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, a premium metal frame, and 45W charging.
The phone may include a 50MP telephoto camera with 120x digital zoom, priced between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000.
CMF launched Phone 2 Pro a years ago, which has already made a place in the favorite list of many. And now the name CMF Phone 3 Pro is going to be added to that line. Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, metal frame, large battery and telephoto camera – all in all, it is like a mature version of Phone 2 Pro. Leaks around the phone have already started generating interest, especially because of the expected hardware upgrades.
Exclusive leak of launch date: When is CMF Phone 3 Pro coming?
Well-known leaker Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) has suggested in his exclusive post that CMF Phone 3 Pro will be launched in Q3 – that is, sometime in August or September. It will not be coming in June-July – he has also clarified this. However, the leakster believes that a very budget-focused Nothing phone may come before the launch of this phone.
Earlier rumours suggested an earlier launch, so this updated timeline changes expectations. Now, although the wait is a bit long, it seems that the wait will be worth it.
Full specifications of CMF Phone 3 Pro (as per leak)
According to the previous leak, it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, which is a step upgrade from the Dimensity 7300 Pro of the Phone 2 Pro. There will be UFS 3.1 storage type. The phone could feature a 6.77-inch 1.5K 120Hz flat OLED display. It is likely to provide a bright and smooth experience like the Phone 2 Pro.
It will have a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens that can zoom in upto 120x digitally. There will be a 16MP front camera for selfies. This means that you will see the camera upgrade very clearly compared to the previous generation.
The battery capacity has been increased – A rated battery around 5090mAh is expected (Market capacity is around 5400-5500mAh), and will support 45W fast charging. The design will see a metal frame and there will also be stereo speakers. It will probably have an IP65 rating, Android 16 based Nothing OS and 8GB RAM with 128/256GB storage options.
Comparison with CMF Phone 2 Pro: What has changed?
Launched in April 2025 last year, the CMF Phone 2 Pro started at Rs 18,999 in India (8GB + 128GB variant). It had a Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, 5000mAh battery with 33W charging, plastic/glass back and stereo speakers. The camera setup was also good but the telephoto had only 20x zoom.
Talking about the price, CMF Phone 3 Pro can be between ₹25K-₹30K. If CMF Phone 3 Pro does everything right according to the leak, CMF could have a strong contender in the upper budget segment. Just a few more months to wait. The full details will be clearer during the launch in August-September.
