Oppo is going to add another small but powerful tablet to its Pad series. The device is expected to be called Oppo Pad Mini. It has a chance to launch very soon in China. And as is the case every time before the launch, its first look and what specifications it may have have been leaked. This look seems to be iPad Mini with a very mature design and hardware system.
Some rumours suggest, this pad is likely to be launched in China on 21 April 2026. And the Oppo Find X9 Ultra can also be seen on the same day. However, the company has not officially announced its launch date yet. The brand received a good response after launching the Pad SE and Pad 5 series earlier, many users are now curious to see how the Mini performs.
Oppo Pad Mini expected Specifications
According to some leaks, the Oppo Pad Mini will have an 8.8-inch LTPO OLED display. It has a refresh rate of 144Hz and it has very thin bezels. The brightness can go up to 1800 nits. Looking at these display specifications, it seems that it is going to be a pretty good multimedia and powerful tablet.
It is known that the processor may have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It is a flagship-level chip, so it is expected to get good performance in multitasking. Not flagship-level insane, but definitely solid. RAM can range from 8GB to 16GB and storage can be 256GB/512GB options.
The device could have a 13MP rear and 8MP selfie camera on the front. It will also have an 8000mAh capacity battery and 67W fast charging support. Some sources say, it will be 5.39mm thick and weight only 279 grams. This means that it can be quite light as a tablet. A compact design is seen, for which the battery capacity is expected to provide a good backup.
Expected Price
In markets like China, its price is likely to start between 35,000 and 40,000 rupees. However, if it comes to India, then its price is said to be ₹40,000 to ₹50,000.
There is a possibility of it coming to India, but no confirmed information has come to the fore yet. Oppo is slowly making its place in the tablet market in India. If it gets a good response in China, then the chances of it coming to India will increase further.
If these leaks turn out to be accurate, the Oppo Pad Mini could become one of the most powerful compact tablets in its segment. Now, all eyes are on the official launch. On paper, this actually looks quite promising for a compact tablet.
