Realme P4 Lite 5G Launch

Realme is adding a new entry to its budget 5G smartphone lineup in India: the realme P4 Lite 5G. The company has officially confirmed that this phone will launch on March 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. It will be sold exclusively on Flipkart and will also be available on the company’s official website. A dedicated “Coming Soon” page is already live on Flipkart, where interested users can set reminders or subscribe to receive notifications.

This device is essentially the 5G variant of the realme P4 Lite 4G, which was launched just last month. The P4 series has seen the release of several models so far, and this new addition is designed specifically for users in the budget segment who are seeking 5G connectivity – particularly those who prioritize long battery life.

Battery

In its teasers, Realme has explicitly stated that the phone will feature a 7000mAh battery. This capacity is even larger than the 6300mAh battery found in the 4G version. With a battery of this size, users can expect to get 1.5 to 2 days of usage under typical conditions (including calls, web browsing, YouTube, and social media). Fast charging support will be included, although the exact wattage has not yet been disclosed. Thanks to the efficient power management capabilities of the Dimensity chipset, the overall battery life is expected to be even more impressive.

Processor and Performance

The phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. This is an entry-level 5G chipset that delivers solid performance for daily tasks, light gaming, and multitasking. According to Realme, the AnTuTu score is more than 550K. However, in other phones with the same chipset, AnTuTu scores typically range between 400K and 450K. The phone will run on Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, and comes with a promise of 2 years of OS updates plus security patches. RAM options include 4GB or 6GB, while storage options are 64GB or 128GB – with support for expandable storage.

Display

The display will be an HD+ LCD panel supporting a 144Hz refresh rate. This is significantly smoother than the 90Hz rate found on the 4G model, offering a fluid experience during scrolling, UI navigation, and casual gaming. The screen measures 6.8 inches and features a punch-hole design. It boasts a maximum brightness of 900 nits, paired with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz.

Camera and Design

The camera setup is straightforward: a dual-camera arrangement on the rear featuring a 13MP main sensor (teasers reveal a vertical alignment). On the front, The exact front camera details have not yet been officially confirmed. More detailed information regarding camera quality will become available following the official launch.

The design is slim (measuring approximately 7.6mm–7.9mm) and features IP64 dust and splash resistance. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers. The available color options are vibrant – such as Mosaic Blue and Mosaic Green.

Price and Offers

The price is expected to remain under Rs 15,000. According to some sources, The base variant is expected to be priced between ₹11,999 and ₹13,999. At launch, Flipkart will offer various incentives, including bank discounts (for SBI, Axis, and ICICI cardholders), no-cost EMI options, and exchange offers.
