Poco has officially launched the X8 Pro series in India. The new phone is positioned as a strong performer in the mid-range segment, and early attention is already on the Black 256GB variant. With an introductory bank offer price starting at ₹29,999, the device aims to deliver flagship-level features without croassing the ₹35,000 mark for most buyers.
The Poco X8 Pro comes with a massive 6500mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment, making it an excellent choice for heavy users. According to Poco’s launch presentation, the phone supports 100W fast charging, allowing users to get a full day’s usage from a quick top-up. The company claims the battery can easily last through heavy gaming and streaming sessions, something many mid-range phones struggle with.
Design and Display
The phone features a 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It offers good brightness levels for outdoor use and comes with slim bezels. The Black variant has a matte finish that helps reduce fingerprints. Build quality feels solid with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance — a rare feature at this price point.
Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the Poco X8 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8500 processor. Combined with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in the variant shown, it should handle daily tasks and gaming smoothly. The phone will go on sale starting March 23, 2026, exclusively on Flipkart. Early buyers can also avail exchange offers and no-cost EMI options.
