Motorola’s upcoming Moto G87 has surfaced in leaked renders, revealing a major design shift and a possible 200MP camera upgrade. Famous leaker Evan Blass has shared the official looking render of the Moto G87 today. It has revealed several details about the phone’s design and camera setup.
According to Evan Blass’ post, the Moto G87 looks quite compact and modern. The phone has a flat-edge design, flat display and a square-shaped camera module that is similar to the Moto G67 and G77. The punch-hole selfie camera is placed in the center on the front, which makes the screen bezel very thin. The rear camera island is on the top left, and it is said to have a 200-megapixel primary sensor. This is a big upgrade for the Moto G series, as the previous models have seen 50MP and 108MP cameras.

According to the leaked images, the phone will be available in two colors – Pantone Overture Gray and Pantone Blue Atoll. Both colors look premium, which is often seen in Motorola. The Gray variant gives a mature and professional look, while the Blue Atoll is a little more vibrant and eye-catching finish. However, according to some reports, apart from these two colors, there may be a few other color options, such as – Arctic Seal, Black Olive, Nile and Shaded Spruce.
Looking at the phone, it seems that Motorola has focused on a slimmer and more handy form factor this time. Flat displays and flat edges are the favorites of many, especially those who do not like curved screens.
According to some leaks, it may have a MediaTek Dimensity 6000 series chipset (possibly Dimensity 6500), 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage options. The European variant is expected to be priced around €400 (~₹45,000).
The Moto G87 has not been officially revealed yet, so everything is at the leak level. However, Evan Blass’ renders are almost always accurate. It looks like Motorola is going to bring a flat display and good cameras to the mid-range.
