Oppo F29 Pro 5G received ColorOS 16 Update
This new update has been officially released for Oppo F29 Pro devices. Some beta users have already received it, but it will take some more time for it to reach all devices. If you are a beta user, check the beta program in the manual update section. If the update is showing, you can download and install it.

The update’s version number is CPH2705_16.0.2.401 (V120P02). The update file size is 3.43 GB, requiring a high-speed internet connection for download. Since this is an over-the-air (OTA) update, be sure to take a full backup of your device before installing it.
ColorOS 16 Features for Oppo F29 Pro
After installing this new ColorOS 16 update based on Android 16, you will definitely notice some differences in the device. The biggest difference is in the animations, which appear smoother and more fluid. AI features have been added, but unfortunately, it doesn’t offer as many features as some other devices.
Also, the Flux themes are not yet included in this update. Regarding battery performance, no significant difference was observed after installing the update. Overall, the update is clean and usable; no major bugs have been spotted yet. However, it’s always advisable to exercise caution before installing such beta updates. If possible, try to install the stable update and avoid the beta version.
The next major feature is the water animation feature that appears on the lock screen. Users can customize this according to their preferences. Not only that, but the system apps like the calculator, compass, and calendar also have a slightly refreshed UI, which makes them more interesting.
