If you are using a Redmi Note 14 or Poco M7 Pro 5G device, this could be an important update for you. These two devices recently officially received the beta version of HyperOS 3. However, after installing the update, users found that it contained numerous bugs, making the smartphones difficult to use. Have all these bugs been fixed, or are there still problems? Let’s find out.
A new update for HyperOS 3.0 was released for both the Poco M7 Pro and Redmi Note 14 5G devices, but only for Mi Pilot users. The first problem users encountered after installing it was a stuck issue. Not only that, but they also experienced app crashes and unresponsiveness.
Furthermore, users complained that several options were not working when touched. Despite all these problems, no major improvements were observed in the device, and users were quite disappointed.
Redmi Note 14 & Poco M7 Pro HyperOS 3 Update

The company took these user complaints seriously and finally released a second version. This new version is currently only available to pilot users. The update’s version number is 3.0.4.0.WOQINXM. This new update is available in two different sizes: if you had previously received the update, the new update’s file size will be around 180 MB. However, if you are installing it for the first time, the size will be approximately 3.8 GB.
After installing this new update version, the app crash and lag issues should be fixed. Additionally, the animations and performance will be smoother and improved. While there aren’t any major new features in this update, noticeable improvements are present.
As mentioned earlier, this is a beta update, and only those who have already installed the previous beta update can install it. Regular users should avoid this type of update and wait a little longer for the stable update. Before updating, ensure you meet the minimum requirements, such as a high-speed internet connection and sufficient battery power.
To install the update, first open the device’s Settings app and go to the About device section. There you will find the Updates section, where an option for the beta program is available, and this update should appear there. If it’s not available yet, please wait a little longer; it will be available to all beta users soon.
